Put your faith in action
Walking with God is more than
believing a set of doctrines and spending time with God in study and prayer. Those things are important, but when we combine action with our faith, amazing things begin to happen. James says,
As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead. James 2:26
The amazing things that happen aren’t just in you and me. It’s also about working with God to develop his Kingdom on earth. We get to be a part of the answer to the very prayer of Jesus in Matthew 6:9-10
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Most projects listed here are open to adults and mature youth/children who can work with some supervision. Check ahead for details and specific needs. Let’s get involved!

Garden Box Construction at

Project #2:
Gazebo Construction at
Tri-Haven House
Summer 2010
Tri-Haven is a great facility for mentally disabled adults. Residents are able to live in a healthy, stable residential environment. Most would be homeless otherwise. Our project is to work with residents, building a gazebo where they can go any time of year to enjoy the outdoors. We’re raising a few hundred bucks to do this project. Don’t have construction skills? NO worries! Bring a rake, a hoe, a willing heart and we’ll work on the grounds too! Make friends, share God’s love together! Invite a friend or neighbor too.

Shut-In helpers
Ongoing Need
Help shut-ins with small projects around the house - anything from changing lights, to light carpentry, painting, picture hanging, yard work, etc. One-time helpers or longer term volunteers needed.
